How To Uninstall libglib2.0-0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libglib2.0-0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglib2.0-0-dbg

Debugging symbols for the GLib librariesDebian 8.0debug2.42.1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libglib2.0-0-dbg

This will remove just the libglib2.0-0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libglib2.0-0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglib2.0-0-dbg

This will remove the libglib2.0-0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglib2.0-0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglib2.0-0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libglib2.0-0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglib2.0-0-dbg
