How To Uninstall libgloox-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgloox-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgloox-dbg

C++ jabber/xmpp library (debug symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.0.11-1
sudo apt-get remove libgloox-dbg

This will remove just the libgloox-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgloox-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgloox-dbg

This will remove the libgloox-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgloox-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgloox-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgloox-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgloox-dbg
