How To Uninstall libglpk-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libglpk-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglpk-java

Java binding to the GNU Linear Programming KitDebian 8.0java1.0.37-1
sudo apt-get remove libglpk-java

This will remove just the libglpk-java package itself.

Uninstall libglpk-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglpk-java

This will remove the libglpk-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglpk-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglpk-java

Or similarly, like this libglpk-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglpk-java
