How To Uninstall libglyr1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libglyr1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglyr1-dbg

search engine for music-related metadata - debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug1.0.6+git20140423-1
sudo apt-get remove libglyr1-dbg

This will remove just the libglyr1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libglyr1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglyr1-dbg

This will remove the libglyr1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglyr1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglyr1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libglyr1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglyr1-dbg
