How To Uninstall libgmerlin0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgmerlin0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgmerlin0

core library for gmerlin - runtime filesDebian 8.0libs1.2.0~dfsg+1-4+b1
sudo apt-get remove libgmerlin0

This will remove just the libgmerlin0 package itself.

Uninstall libgmerlin0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgmerlin0

This will remove the libgmerlin0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgmerlin0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgmerlin0

Or similarly, like this libgmerlin0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgmerlin0
