How To Uninstall libgmetric4j-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libgmetric4j-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgmetric4j-java

gmetric4j Ganglia metric transmission APIDebian 8.0java1.0.6-2
sudo apt-get remove libgmetric4j-java

This will remove just the libgmetric4j-java package itself.

Uninstall libgmetric4j-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgmetric4j-java

This will remove the libgmetric4j-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgmetric4j-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgmetric4j-java

Or similarly, like this libgmetric4j-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgmetric4j-java
