How To Uninstall libgnome-bluetooth-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgnome-bluetooth-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgnome-bluetooth-dev

GNOME Bluetooth tools - support library development filesDebian 8.0libdevel3.14.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libgnome-bluetooth-dev

This will remove just the libgnome-bluetooth-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgnome-bluetooth-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgnome-bluetooth-dev

This will remove the libgnome-bluetooth-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgnome-bluetooth-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgnome-bluetooth-dev

Or similarly, like this libgnome-bluetooth-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgnome-bluetooth-dev
