How To Uninstall libgnustep-base1.24-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgnustep-base1.24-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgnustep-base1.24-dbg

GNUstep Base library - debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug1.24.7-1
sudo apt-get remove libgnustep-base1.24-dbg

This will remove just the libgnustep-base1.24-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgnustep-base1.24-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgnustep-base1.24-dbg

This will remove the libgnustep-base1.24-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgnustep-base1.24-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgnustep-base1.24-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgnustep-base1.24-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgnustep-base1.24-dbg
