How To Uninstall libgnustep-gui-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgnustep-gui-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgnustep-gui-dev

GNUstep GUI header files and static librariesDebian 8.0libdevel0.24.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libgnustep-gui-dev

This will remove just the libgnustep-gui-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgnustep-gui-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgnustep-gui-dev

This will remove the libgnustep-gui-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgnustep-gui-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgnustep-gui-dev

Or similarly, like this libgnustep-gui-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgnustep-gui-dev
