How To Uninstall libgpac-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgpac-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgpac-dbg

GPAC Project on Advanced Content - debugging symbols for libgpac3Debian 8.0debug0.5.0+svn5324~dfsg1-1+b3
sudo apt-get remove libgpac-dbg

This will remove just the libgpac-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgpac-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgpac-dbg

This will remove the libgpac-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgpac-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgpac-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgpac-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgpac-dbg
