How To Uninstall libgpaste2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgpaste2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgpaste2

Clipboard management system for GNOME - libraryDebian 8.0gnome3.14-2
sudo apt-get remove libgpaste2

This will remove just the libgpaste2 package itself.

Uninstall libgpaste2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgpaste2

This will remove the libgpaste2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgpaste2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgpaste2

Or similarly, like this libgpaste2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgpaste2
