How To Uninstall libgraphicsmagick++1-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libgraphicsmagick++1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgraphicsmagick++1-dev

format-independent image processing - C++ development filesDebian 8.0libdevel1.3.20-3+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove libgraphicsmagick++1-dev

This will remove just the libgraphicsmagick++1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgraphicsmagick++1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgraphicsmagick++1-dev

This will remove the libgraphicsmagick++1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgraphicsmagick++1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgraphicsmagick++1-dev

Or similarly, like this libgraphicsmagick++1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgraphicsmagick++1-dev
