How To Uninstall libgrib2c0d On Debian 8

To uninstall libgrib2c0d just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgrib2c0d

NCEP GRIB2 encoder/decoder libraryDebian 8.0libs1.4.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libgrib2c0d

This will remove just the libgrib2c0d package itself.

Uninstall libgrib2c0d and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgrib2c0d

This will remove the libgrib2c0d package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgrib2c0d then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgrib2c0d

Or similarly, like this libgrib2c0d

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgrib2c0d
