How To Uninstall libgrok1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgrok1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgrok1

shared libraries for grokDebian 8.0libs1.20110708.1-4.1
sudo apt-get remove libgrok1

This will remove just the libgrok1 package itself.

Uninstall libgrok1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgrok1

This will remove the libgrok1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgrok1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgrok1

Or similarly, like this libgrok1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgrok1
