How To Uninstall libgsoap5 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgsoap5 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgsoap5

Runtime libraries for gSOAPDebian 8.0libs2.8.17-1
sudo apt-get remove libgsoap5

This will remove just the libgsoap5 package itself.

Uninstall libgsoap5 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgsoap5

This will remove the libgsoap5 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgsoap5 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgsoap5

Or similarly, like this libgsoap5

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgsoap5
