How To Uninstall libgtg0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgtg0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgtg0

Generic Trace Generator (GTG) - shared libraryDebian 8.0libs0.2-2+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libgtg0

This will remove just the libgtg0 package itself.

Uninstall libgtg0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtg0

This will remove the libgtg0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgtg0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgtg0

Or similarly, like this libgtg0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtg0
