How To Uninstall libgtkgl2.0-1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgtkgl2.0-1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgtkgl2.0-1

OpenGL context support for GTK+ (shared libraries)Debian 8.0libs2.0.1-2.2
sudo apt-get remove libgtkgl2.0-1

This will remove just the libgtkgl2.0-1 package itself.

Uninstall libgtkgl2.0-1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtkgl2.0-1

This will remove the libgtkgl2.0-1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgtkgl2.0-1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgtkgl2.0-1

Or similarly, like this libgtkgl2.0-1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtkgl2.0-1
