How To Uninstall libgtkglext1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgtkglext1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgtkglext1-dbg

OpenGL Extension to GTK+ (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.2.0-3.2
sudo apt-get remove libgtkglext1-dbg

This will remove just the libgtkglext1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgtkglext1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtkglext1-dbg

This will remove the libgtkglext1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgtkglext1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgtkglext1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgtkglext1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtkglext1-dbg
