How To Uninstall libgtkglext1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgtkglext1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgtkglext1

OpenGL Extension to GTK+ (shared libraries)Debian 8.0libs1.2.0-3.2
sudo apt-get remove libgtkglext1

This will remove just the libgtkglext1 package itself.

Uninstall libgtkglext1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtkglext1

This will remove the libgtkglext1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgtkglext1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgtkglext1

Or similarly, like this libgtkglext1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtkglext1
