How To Uninstall libgtkhotkey1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libgtkhotkey1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgtkhotkey1

Gtk hotkey shared libraryDebian 8.0libs0.2.1-6
sudo apt-get remove libgtkhotkey1

This will remove just the libgtkhotkey1 package itself.

Uninstall libgtkhotkey1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtkhotkey1

This will remove the libgtkhotkey1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgtkhotkey1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgtkhotkey1

Or similarly, like this libgtkhotkey1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtkhotkey1
