How To Uninstall libgtkmm-3.0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgtkmm-3.0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgtkmm-3.0-dbg

C++ wrappers for GTK+ (debug symbols)Debian 8.0debug3.14.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libgtkmm-3.0-dbg

This will remove just the libgtkmm-3.0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgtkmm-3.0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgtkmm-3.0-dbg

This will remove the libgtkmm-3.0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgtkmm-3.0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgtkmm-3.0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgtkmm-3.0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgtkmm-3.0-dbg
