How To Uninstall libguava-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libguava-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libguava-java

suite of Google Common Libraries for Java 5.0Debian 8.0java17.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libguava-java

This will remove just the libguava-java package itself.

Uninstall libguava-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libguava-java

This will remove the libguava-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libguava-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libguava-java

Or similarly, like this libguava-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libguava-java
