How To Uninstall libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg

small, efficient C++ GUI library (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug0.8.2-13
sudo apt-get remove libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg

This will remove just the libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg

This will remove the libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libguichan-0.8.1-1-dbg
