How To Uninstall libgupnp-1.0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libgupnp-1.0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgupnp-1.0-dbg

GObject-based library for UPnP (debug symbols)Debian 8.0debug0.20.12-1
sudo apt-get remove libgupnp-1.0-dbg

This will remove just the libgupnp-1.0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgupnp-1.0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgupnp-1.0-dbg

This will remove the libgupnp-1.0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgupnp-1.0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgupnp-1.0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgupnp-1.0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgupnp-1.0-dbg
