How To Uninstall libhackrf0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libhackrf0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libhackrf0

Software defined radio peripheralDebian 8.0libs2014.08.1-1
sudo apt-get remove libhackrf0

This will remove just the libhackrf0 package itself.

Uninstall libhackrf0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libhackrf0

This will remove the libhackrf0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libhackrf0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libhackrf0

Or similarly, like this libhackrf0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libhackrf0
