How To Uninstall libhaildb-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libhaildb-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libhaildb-dbg

Library implementing InnoDB-like database - debug symbolsDebian 8.0debug2.3.2-1.3
sudo apt-get remove libhaildb-dbg

This will remove just the libhaildb-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libhaildb-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libhaildb-dbg

This will remove the libhaildb-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libhaildb-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libhaildb-dbg

Or similarly, like this libhaildb-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libhaildb-dbg
