How To Uninstall libhamlib-utils On Debian 8

To uninstall libhamlib-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libhamlib-utils

Utilities to support the hamlib radio control libraryDebian 8.0hamradio1.2.15.3-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove libhamlib-utils

This will remove just the libhamlib-utils package itself.

Uninstall libhamlib-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libhamlib-utils

This will remove the libhamlib-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libhamlib-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libhamlib-utils

Or similarly, like this libhamlib-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libhamlib-utils
