How To Uninstall libical1a On Debian 8

To uninstall libical1a just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libical1a

linuxiCalendar library implementation in C (runtime)libs1.0-1.3
sudo apt-get remove libical1a

This will remove just the libical1a package itself.

Uninstall libical1a and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libical1a

This will remove the libical1a package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libical1a then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libical1a

Or similarly, like this libical1a

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libical1a
