How To Uninstall libipmimonitoring-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libipmimonitoring-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libipmimonitoring-dev

GNU IPMI - ipmimonitoring development packageDebian 8.0libdevel1.4.5-3
sudo apt-get remove libipmimonitoring-dev

This will remove just the libipmimonitoring-dev package itself.

Uninstall libipmimonitoring-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libipmimonitoring-dev

This will remove the libipmimonitoring-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libipmimonitoring-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libipmimonitoring-dev

Or similarly, like this libipmimonitoring-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libipmimonitoring-dev
