How To Uninstall libipx-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libipx-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libipx-dev

Development files for libipxDebian 8.0libdevel10.1~svn273304-1
sudo apt-get remove libipx-dev

This will remove just the libipx-dev package itself.

Uninstall libipx-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libipx-dev

This will remove the libipx-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libipx-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libipx-dev

Or similarly, like this libipx-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libipx-dev
