How To Uninstall libipx2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libipx2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libipx2

FreeBSD IPX address conversion support libraryDebian 8.0libs10.1~svn273304-1
sudo apt-get remove libipx2

This will remove just the libipx2 package itself.

Uninstall libipx2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libipx2

This will remove the libipx2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libipx2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libipx2

Or similarly, like this libipx2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libipx2
