How To Uninstall libisc95 On Debian 8

To uninstall libisc95 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libisc95

ISC Shared Library used by BINDDebian 8.0libs1:9.9.5.dfsg-9+deb8u10
sudo apt-get remove libisc95

This will remove just the libisc95 package itself.

Uninstall libisc95 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libisc95

This will remove the libisc95 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libisc95 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libisc95

Or similarly, like this libisc95

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libisc95
