How To Uninstall libjava-gmsh2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libjava-gmsh2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libjava-gmsh2

Three-dimensional finite element mesh generator. Java wrapperDebian 8.0java2.8.5+dfsg-1.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libjava-gmsh2

This will remove just the libjava-gmsh2 package itself.

Uninstall libjava-gmsh2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libjava-gmsh2

This will remove the libjava-gmsh2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libjava-gmsh2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libjava-gmsh2

Or similarly, like this libjava-gmsh2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libjava-gmsh2
