How To Uninstall libjpa-2.1-spec-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libjpa-2.1-spec-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libjpa-2.1-spec-java

JPA Spec 2.1 OSGi BundleDebian 8.0java2.1.0.v201304241213-1
sudo apt-get remove libjpa-2.1-spec-java

This will remove just the libjpa-2.1-spec-java package itself.

Uninstall libjpa-2.1-spec-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libjpa-2.1-spec-java

This will remove the libjpa-2.1-spec-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libjpa-2.1-spec-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libjpa-2.1-spec-java

Or similarly, like this libjpa-2.1-spec-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libjpa-2.1-spec-java
