How To Uninstall libjs-bignumber On Debian 8

To uninstall libjs-bignumber just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libjs-bignumber

Arbitrary-precision decimal and non-decimal arithmetic (client)Debian 8.0web1.3.0+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libjs-bignumber

This will remove just the libjs-bignumber package itself.

Uninstall libjs-bignumber and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libjs-bignumber

This will remove the libjs-bignumber package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libjs-bignumber then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libjs-bignumber

Or similarly, like this libjs-bignumber

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libjs-bignumber
