How To Uninstall libkml0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libkml0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libkml0

Library to manipulate KML 2.2 OGC standard filesDebian 8.0libs1.3.0~r864+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libkml0

This will remove just the libkml0 package itself.

Uninstall libkml0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libkml0

This will remove the libkml0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libkml0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libkml0

Or similarly, like this libkml0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libkml0
