How To Uninstall libmigemo-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libmigemo-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmigemo-dbg

Japanese incremental search tool written in C - detached debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug1:1.2+gh0.20140306-4
sudo apt-get remove libmigemo-dbg

This will remove just the libmigemo-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libmigemo-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmigemo-dbg

This will remove the libmigemo-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmigemo-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmigemo-dbg

Or similarly, like this libmigemo-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmigemo-dbg
