How To Uninstall libmmdb0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libmmdb0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmmdb0

macromolecular coordinate library - runtimeDebian 8.0libs1.25.5-2
sudo apt-get remove libmmdb0

This will remove just the libmmdb0 package itself.

Uninstall libmmdb0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmmdb0

This will remove the libmmdb0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmmdb0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmmdb0

Or similarly, like this libmmdb0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmmdb0
