How To Uninstall libmono-cecil-cil-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libmono-cecil-cil-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmono-cecil-cil-dev

library to generate and inspect CIL assembliesDebian 8.0cli-mono0.9.5+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove libmono-cecil-cil-dev

This will remove just the libmono-cecil-cil-dev package itself.

Uninstall libmono-cecil-cil-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmono-cecil-cil-dev

This will remove the libmono-cecil-cil-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmono-cecil-cil-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmono-cecil-cil-dev

Or similarly, like this libmono-cecil-cil-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmono-cecil-cil-dev
