How To Uninstall libnet-handlersocket-perl On Debian 8

To uninstall libnet-handlersocket-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libnet-handlersocket-perl

HandlerSocket perl client library.Debian 8.0perl1.1.0-7-g1044a28-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove libnet-handlersocket-perl

This will remove just the libnet-handlersocket-perl package itself.

Uninstall libnet-handlersocket-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libnet-handlersocket-perl

This will remove the libnet-handlersocket-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libnet-handlersocket-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libnet-handlersocket-perl
