How To Uninstall libpam-google-authenticator On Debian 8

To uninstall libpam-google-authenticator just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpam-google-authenticator

Two-step verificationDebian 8.0admin20130529-2
sudo apt-get remove libpam-google-authenticator

This will remove just the libpam-google-authenticator package itself.

Uninstall libpam-google-authenticator and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpam-google-authenticator

This will remove the libpam-google-authenticator package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpam-google-authenticator then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpam-google-authenticator

Or similarly, like this libpam-google-authenticator

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpam-google-authenticator
