How To Uninstall libpath-utils1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libpath-utils1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpath-utils1

Filesystem Path UtilitiesDebian 8.0libs0.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libpath-utils1

This will remove just the libpath-utils1 package itself.

Uninstall libpath-utils1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpath-utils1

This will remove the libpath-utils1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpath-utils1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpath-utils1

Or similarly, like this libpath-utils1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpath-utils1
