How To Uninstall libperformance-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libperformance-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libperformance-dev

GNUstep performance library (development files)Debian 8.0libdevel0.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libperformance-dev

This will remove just the libperformance-dev package itself.

Uninstall libperformance-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libperformance-dev

This will remove the libperformance-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libperformance-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libperformance-dev

Or similarly, like this libperformance-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libperformance-dev
