How To Uninstall libperformance0.5-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libperformance0.5-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libperformance0.5-dbg

GNUstep performance library (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug0.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libperformance0.5-dbg

This will remove just the libperformance0.5-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libperformance0.5-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libperformance0.5-dbg

This will remove the libperformance0.5-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libperformance0.5-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libperformance0.5-dbg

Or similarly, like this libperformance0.5-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libperformance0.5-dbg
