How To Uninstall libpils2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libpils2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpils2

Reusable cluster libraries -- libpils2Debian 8.0libs1.0.12~rc1+hg2777-1.2
sudo apt-get remove libpils2

This will remove just the libpils2 package itself.

Uninstall libpils2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpils2

This will remove the libpils2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpils2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpils2

Or similarly, like this libpils2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpils2
