How To Uninstall libplumb2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libplumb2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libplumb2

Reusable cluster libraries -- libplumb2Debian 8.0libs1.0.12~rc1+hg2777-1.2
sudo apt-get remove libplumb2

This will remove just the libplumb2 package itself.

Uninstall libplumb2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libplumb2

This will remove the libplumb2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libplumb2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libplumb2

Or similarly, like this libplumb2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libplumb2
