How To Uninstall libpostgresql-gst On Debian 8

To uninstall libpostgresql-gst just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpostgresql-gst

PostgreSQL bindings for GNU SmalltalkDebian 8.0interpreters3.2.4-2.1
sudo apt-get remove libpostgresql-gst

This will remove just the libpostgresql-gst package itself.

Uninstall libpostgresql-gst and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpostgresql-gst

This will remove the libpostgresql-gst package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpostgresql-gst then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpostgresql-gst

Or similarly, like this libpostgresql-gst

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpostgresql-gst
