How To Uninstall librbd1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall librbd1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just librbd1-dbg

debugging symbols for librbd1Debian 8.0debug0.80.7-2+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove librbd1-dbg

This will remove just the librbd1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall librbd1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove librbd1-dbg

This will remove the librbd1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for librbd1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge librbd1-dbg

Or similarly, like this librbd1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove librbd1-dbg
