How To Uninstall librbd1 On Debian 8

To uninstall librbd1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just librbd1

RADOS block device client libraryDebian 8.0libs0.80.7-2+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove librbd1

This will remove just the librbd1 package itself.

Uninstall librbd1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove librbd1

This will remove the librbd1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for librbd1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge librbd1

Or similarly, like this librbd1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove librbd1
