How To Uninstall libsgml-dtdparse-perl On Debian 8

To uninstall libsgml-dtdparse-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libsgml-dtdparse-perl

Perl modules and scripts for manipulating SGML and XML DTDsDebian 8.0perl2.00-1
sudo apt-get remove libsgml-dtdparse-perl

This will remove just the libsgml-dtdparse-perl package itself.

Uninstall libsgml-dtdparse-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libsgml-dtdparse-perl

This will remove the libsgml-dtdparse-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libsgml-dtdparse-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libsgml-dtdparse-perl

Or similarly, like this libsgml-dtdparse-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libsgml-dtdparse-perl
